As we visioneered the way we could contribute to this seedling industry, we rolled up our sleeves and started in, engaging in the standards writing and editing process. And here we are, 7 years and many man hours of work later, with a new industry! There are thousands of ELSA and SLSA aircraft flying under the new category, and many pilots reinvigorated.

But what we have seen is only the beginning of the potential for industry growth. Streamline Designs has always been committed to benefiting the industry through technical expertise, clear technical communication, and plain hard work. Industry self-regulation hangs on several keys, including excellence in standards management and third party oversight. Streamline Designs supports you in both ways. Adam Morrison currently serves as ASTM Subcommittee Chairman for Fixed-Wing Airplanes, F37.20, and Streamline Designs has partnered with the Light Aircraft Manufacturer's Association (LAMA) to provide independent audits for the industry.
